Columbia River Treaty Fishing Access Sites
Columbia River in Oregon & Washington
Located on both the Oregon and Washington sides of the Columbia River, these eleven treaty fishing access sites are used exclusively by the Nez Perce, Umatilla, Warm Springs, and Yakama tribal members. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers rehabilitated these sites to provide modern fishing areas that will replace the traditional fishing sites that were inundated by slack waters behind the Columbia River hydroelectric dams.
