Northwest Passage Scenic Byway

Client: Idaho Transportation Department
Location: Highways 12 & 13, Nez Perce Indian Reservation, Idaho
Completion Date: December 2011

McCormack Landscape Architecture teamed with Jahn Studio Graphics to develop a series of interpretive sites along the Northwest Passage Scenic Byway in north-central Idaho. MLA worked with various advisory teams and tribal committees to develop the themes, story lines and graphics for several interpretive panels at roadside pullouts along these scenic highways within the Nez Perce Indian Reservation. The interpretive panels portray historical and contemporary Nez Perce topics, including the Tribe's recent watershed agreement with the State of Idaho and the US Government.
